Do I need hiking and/or climbing equipment?

No. We want our guests to fully enjoy and absorb the beauty of Mauritius without a lot of effort (as said in the "about" section). This is particularly why strenuous and technical climbing activities are totally excluded in our fine selection of hiking tours.
However you will need to wear hiking shoes or sports shoes (with good traction) which will make the experience more enjoyable.
I'm a solo traveler, is that ok?

It's perfect! You will be accompanied by our qualified mountaineer and/or sharing the adventure with not more than 11 people in the group.

Is there an age limit?
​
People from 18 - 60 years old are most welcome. Children (as from 8 years old) and teenagers (below 18 years old) must be accompanied by their legal guardian.
Can I do multiple hikes in one day? How much time does it take for 1 hike?

Absolutely! You get an instant discount of 10% on your second trip.
However if your trip consists of: Exploring Tamarind Falls, you will only be eligible of one trip in a day. Duration of each hike is available here.
Do you offer refund if I can no longer join the trip?

You will have a full refund if you cancel 24 hours prior to the trip. If you cancel in less than 24 hours we won't offer a refund. You can still postpone for a later date. If, on our side, need to cancel the trip because of specific reasons, you will be eligible for a full refund.
Do you offer pick up and drop off services?
​
No. After your booking you will have clear instructions (including a GPS link) about our meeting point. Depending on which region you are coming from, transportation can be arranged at an additional cost.
Can I bring my luggage?
​
No. Your guide will make sure you hike with necessary items only.
